There is always something happening in my life that brings a smile.....
This is the latest:

THE STORY OF THE CARRIER BAG

Carrier bags are very useful, they not only carry shopping but act as bin liners and many other variations of use.  This is a tale of a different ending.

I needed to clear out the area under my sink, well I had to really as I was looking for something.  My son said he would help and get things out then I could sort them and see what was needed.  So, out came the washing up liquid, floor cleaner, carpet shampoo, disinfectant, soda crystals, rubber gloves, plunger (for blocked sinks), large sponges (cleaning car), dishcloths and scourers plus numerous other bits and bobs!  No wonder I had trouble finding things!  Anyway, one item right at the back round the corner that you couldn’t see unless you had a bendy neck, was a carrier bag with something in.  It turned out to contain some old air fresheners that needed refills and I no longer used them.  My son plonked the carrier bag on the kitchen floor and left me to it.

I went to pick up the carrier bag and then the fun started……….

It just deteriorated in my hands!  I went to put it in the bin but I only had little pieces all stuck to my hands!  Unrecognisable as a carrier bag, it was like something out of a science fiction film!  I was totally unable to do anything with these bits which got smaller every time I moved!  I began to get addicted to touching a bit to watch it get smaller! I had to call my son back (good job he was only in the next room and not miles down the road!),  He then got a freshly acquired (Tesco yesterday) carrier bag and I scraped the tiny bits (which were beginning to resemble dust) from my hands into it!

The moral of this story is - don’t leave a carrier bag hidden away for years!!
By the way, I never found what I was looking for!

Maybe I should write a book??????????????

This is the first of my blogs.  I am just learning how to do this, so not writing much today.

Apart from setting up a new website I have been busy today writing a book review.

Will write more soon.
