LATEST HAPPENINGS

It’s been a while since I wrote anything on here so thought I had better catch up.

Sorry to say I have been struggling to get much more written for my follow on book.  There is so much to write about it is becoming daunting!  So far I have written about 10 jobs I had and I hadn’t even reached 21!! There are many more to go plus all else that happened!  This is proving much harder than the first which I just sailed through - the words flowed.  Not so with this one so I have decided to shelve it for a while (I can go back later to complete it) and start another, totally different one.  A new genre for me, a Murder Mystery!  My favourite type of book so that should help.  (She says hopefully!)

MURDER AT THE CAR BOOT will probably be the title but that could change.  I have made a good start, setting the scene so to speak.  I am at the stage of introducing the characters and enjoying myself.

I must prioritise my days and get lots of writing done!

So what else have I been up to?  Been busy with the Social Club here where I live, helping with events and keeping the Newsletter going each month.  Also preparing for the AGM which is coming up soon.  Having fun with friends there too.

Meeting with some new people next week at a local writers group.  Looking forward to that.

Crazy things still happen to me!  Yesterday I chucked my bread board out of the window!! Lol  Well I didn’t really chuck it but it did end up outside!  It was like this …… I had been cutting some bread and there were a load of crumbs (it was fresh home made bread) so I thought there are enough to give to the birds.  Being lazy I didn’t bother walking outside but decided to open the window and throw them out.  As you now have guessed, I went to slide them off the board but ended up with the board sailing merrily to the lawn!  Goodness knows what anyone watching thought!

Well that’s it for the moment, got visitors coming today so had better crack on.  Hopefully I won’t leave it so long for the next blog.  Take care everyone.

Love the poem, Ann. Of course it had to be red wine, not white!! I enjoy catching up on your blog, thanks for sharing.
